Morris Minor brake master cylinder replacement

Now I have a new loathing – the Morris Minor brake master cylinder (BMC). It’s located IN the chassis rail beneath the driver’s footwell. Removing it involves undoing 31 brass screws in varying states of disrepair just to remove the gearbox cover panel.
